GUITAR LESSONS

  Teachers: Michael Anzaldua, Worth Morrison

A good age to begin guitar is seven years and older. ···Lessons are 30 minutes or one hour long and privately taught.·

·Lessons include reading music, basic music theory, and learning how to play chords.·· Beginners can begin either on an acoustic or electric guitar.

·It is necessary for students to have a guitar at home so they can practice.·· All lessons are focused on building a foundation of basic guitar skills.

Our guitar teachers are skilled in teaching every style including classical, jazz and rock.  If your goals include playing at church, we are interested in helping you learn skills necessary to play in a praise band.   Lessons are both private and band ensembles.  Older beginners and Adults are taught styles according to their individual interests.

Bass guitar:  The goal of our Bass Guitar lessons is to help the student create their own basslines and solos, not to just parrot those of others.  For this reason, there is a strong focus on basics.  Lessons are both private and (if desired) playing with other musicians.
