At home behind a drum set, Aaron Grimes is experienced in playing for church praise teams and a variety of bands (Jazz, rock, rock n roll, country). Aaron was chosen to join the music staff at Charlotte Floyd Music Studio because he is not only skilled, he is encouraging and patient with his students. He enjoys teaching all ages, younger students to adults. Aaron Grimes teaches his students to read percussion music and to listen to music and develop skills for playing a basic beat and adding fills where needed. “My goal is to develop well-rounded drummers who can relax and have a good time on their drumset. Playing the drums has meant so much to me in my life, I want to share this love for drumming with my students”. – Aaron Grimes
